Have you ever wished you had someone who could answer all your burning questions about that topic you just don’t get or understand easily? You wouldn’t have to google, read a blog, or read a manual. You just ask someone and they tell you! And that person doesn’t get irritated or impatient.
That’s what Next Step Coaching Services can do for you. We want to help you with your ministry goals.
I understand that burning desire for help. I’m trying to become more tech-savvy. A slow process. Frankly, it’s just hard and gives me a headache. I don’t think that way naturally – but I’m not giving up! I want to learn and can learn and will learn!
And then God dropped this amazing friend in my life, a creative writer who is also very techie.
When I explained my recent learning challenges, she said to me, “I will help you.”
“You will?” I responded with disbelief and a huge breath of relief.
“Yes, it’s not that hard. I can help you figure this out.”
Whew. Sometimes those are just the words you need to hear, right?
And so ministry, speaking, and writing friends, we say that to you:
We will help you.
Here are a few ways Next Step will help you:
We will pray for you.
We pray about our coaching business. Yes, we are a business (we have between us four sons in college, and financially that adds up.) But our number one goal in our business is to bring glory to God. So, we pray for our clients’ ministries.
We want to be your partners.
As your partners, we want to come alongside to help you become the speakers, writers, and ministry leaders God’s called you to be. We will speak words of encouragement, challenge, honesty, and truth.
We want you to feel “not alone.” Almost every speaker or writer I know has at some point thought, Am I crazy to pursue this? I didn’t know this was going to be so hard. Am I doing this right? And countless other thoughts only someone in ministry understands. We get you. You are not alone.
We are practical.
We keep it practical and simple. Sometimes in ministry we can get stuck, not sure of the next step. For example, as I’m searching for answers to some of my techie questions, I often feel overwhelmed by how much information is available. Which blogs, websites, podcasts, or conferences do I choose to follow, read and listen to?
Maybe you feel the same way. Our hope at Next Step Coaching Services is that we will be one of those blogs you follow and return to, so instead of feeling overwhelmed, you will feel relief and empowerment when you find tools to equip you to do what God has asked you to do.
My business partner Amy Carroll, will never toot her own horn, but I think it’s important for you to see what one of her clients said after working with her: “Every time I get off the phone with you, I think to myself, Ok, yes, I can do this!”
That’s a response we hope each of our clients will express!
Visit our Next Step website under the coaching section to discover the speaker, writer, and ministry services we offer.
We look forward to helping you!
Melanie

Amy had a little “oops!” techie moment last week and posted the wrong video. Glad so many of you enjoyed it anyway! If you’d like to watch the one she made especially for speakers and writers, watch the video below or click here to watch on Youtube. (Note: The last three minutes tells some new ways we’re soon launching to help you. We’re so excited to give you a peek at what’s coming!)
I am so, so thankful for your insights, encouragement and coaching!
I’m grateful for your sensitivity. It IS a tension – deciding what is best to invest in as we try to be good stewards of our gifts, while stretching and growing.
Thank you, Laura. It is definitely ongoing prayer to steward our gifts the way God wants us too. We have some upcoming resources that will be completely affordable, and will be resources you can keep and refer back to again and again. Coming soon!
“We keep it practical and simple.”
-You’re speaking my love language!
“… you will feel relief and empowerment when you find tools to equip you to do what God has asked you to do.”
-Amen and thank you!
Have a wonderful day!
Hey Charla, Glad these words resonated with you! Looking forward to reading your works this week!
