  1. Loved the video! 🙂 Thanks for sharing your wisdom, Amy!

  2. I LOVED this video! I totally agree with you. People respond so much more openly when we are honest with them about our own struggles. I find myself tempted to try to sound like an expert, but I can’t really pull it off because what I teach/speak about is most often what I struggle with. I think God gives me messages about the things I struggle with so that it keeps the concepts in front of my own eyes and heart. Thanks for this great video.

I just discovered “Next STep Speaker Services” a few months ago, what an awesome ministry!
Although I have not scheduled a service, I will very soon. I get so excited when I wake up to an e mail with a tip or a shared experience from someone in your team, because I know there is always something to learn.

And now this, what a blessing! I look forward to viewing more questions answered. I will be in contact very soon, I can’t wait to get feed back on some of the work I have been presenting. Thank you again.

I absolutely agree with your comment regarding keeping things real. I’ve taken this approach with a Bible study I teach and I’ve seen progress. Ladies tend to open up and want to participate in conversations which makes it for a greater learning and a warm sharing environment. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Oh I just love this! And I think the question about using “you” is a good one for writers too, which many speakers are. Great reminder that “you” can sound preachy. Thanks for keeping it real!
